The certification process improves Security Equipment Corporation’s customers' satisfaction, enhances their competitive edge, increases their credibility, and lowers trade barriers. ISO 9001:2000 Certification provides objective proof that Security Equipment Corporation has implemented an effective quality management system, and that it satisfies all of the requirements of the applicable standard.

The International Standard Organization (ISO) was founded in 1946 to develop a common set of manufacturing, trade and communication standards. ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 147 countries with a Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is the U.S. representative to the ISO.
