The possession and or sale of SABRE defense sprays, SABRE Red defense sprays, FRONTIERSMAN Bear Attack Deterrents and SABRE stun guns are legal in the vast majority of states and cities across the United States. However, a few states and cities have chosen to enact laws restricting in some way the possession and or sale of these products.  To the best of our knowledge, listed below is the most current information on cities and states with legal restrictions. Check your local laws to determine the legality of carrying SABRE, SABRE Red and FRONTEIRSMAN products in your area.

The consumer agrees that Security Equipment Corporation's products are not intended for illegal use. Security Equipment Corporation is not responsible for misrepresentation by the consumer, nor the illegal use of our products. By submitting an order to www.sabrered.com, the consumer states that they are at least 18 years old, understand the local and state laws concerning the purchase and use of Security Equipment Corporation's products and agrees to all terms and conditions of this purchase. Massachusetts
SEC cannot ship products to consumers in Massachusetts. SABRE, SABRE Red and FRONTIERSMAN products must be purchased from a licensed gun dealer. SABRE Stun guns are illegal.

New York
SEC cannot ship products to consumers in New York. SABRE Red and FRONTIERSMAN products must be purchased from a licensed gun dealer or pharmacy. SABRE Stun guns are illegal.

California
SEC cannot ship SABRE or SABRE Red products weighing more than 2.5 ozs. to consumers in California. FRONTIERSMAN Bear Attack Deterrent is legal for sale in California.

Michigan
SEC can only ship SABRE formulas weighing less than 35 grams or SABRE Red formulas in a 2% OC formulation.  SABRE Stun guns are illegal.

New Jersey
Customers in NJ cannot order any defense spray over 0.75 ozs. SABRE Stun guns are illegal.

Wisconsin
SEC can only ship SABRE Red products weighing less than or equal to 60 grams. SABRE Stun guns are illegal.

Hawaii
SABRE Stun guns are illegal.
Customers in Hawaii cannot order any SABRE 3-IN-1 Formula products.

Rhode Island
SABRE Stun guns are illegal.

STUN GUNS ARE ILLEGAL IN THE FOLLOWING CITIES:
