Traveling with friends and family – what better way to spend New Year’s? If you’re jetting off, be sure to ring in a safe, exciting 2015. Check in with us on Facebook
for Smart Travel Tips! Today we shared a blog post from Lonely Planet
covering some expert advice for the safest – and therefore least stressful – travels possible. SABRE
summarizes a few of our favorites below:
- When you get up, take a look back to make sure you didn’t leave anything behind!
- In a similar vein, don’t keep anything in your back pocket. These items can easily fall out without you noticing, or attract pickpockets.
- Scan a copy of all your important documents. Hide a copy in your suitcase – or better yet, store a digital copy on one of your personal online accounts.
- Avoid PDAs (Public Displays of Affluence). Hide valuables and don’t flaunt it if you’re well-off.
But that’s just the start – read Lonely Planet’s post
for the entire list of travel tips! And again, stay tuned for more in the coming weeks.
