Runner Defends Herself with Pepper Spray in Kalamazoo County, MI

A Kalamazoo woman used pepper spray to defend herself against a man who charged at her while out for a run.

After being passed by a 2007 sedan with a rear spoiler, the jogger noticed the car was parked on the side of the road. She reported that the male suspect ran at her after emerging from the passenger side of the vehicle.

The woman deployed her pepper spray, and the man retreated back into the vehicle, leaving the potential victim unharmed.
