SABRE Civilian Safety Awareness Instructor Training Course
1-Day (10-Hour) Certification Program
Course Overview
This Instructor Certification Program is designed to train instructor candidates in the methods of teaching effective self-defense and safety awareness utilizing SABRE pepper spray.
The course enhances instructor knowledge in the use and deployment of SABRE pepper sprays. Instructors will learn essential facts about pepper spray, proper carry methods, effective deployment against an assailant, teaching methods, decontamination techniques, and hands-on practice with inert canisters. Candidates will learn the SABRE Safety Awareness Concept and how to teach others to understand and adopt its principles.
Candidates will be tested via both a written and practical examination gauging instructor skills and qualifications. Instructors will also be presented the organizational process involved in planning and carrying out a SABRE Personal Safety Academy. You must demonstrate the ability to teach the course to civilians.
Certification is valid for two (2) calendar years from successful completion, subject to SEC guidelines.
