IADLEST Camera Policy
This course is IADLEST Certified as part of the National Certification Program. IADLEST requires your camera to remain on with your face clearly visible for the duration of the session.
- A grace period is provided until the break to resolve any camera or connectivity issues.
- After the break, anyone whose camera is not on may need to reschedule to a future course.
- Your camera must be centered on your face — not the tip of a hat or the edge of a shoulder.
- Posting a static image or video loop is not allowed.
If any of these requirements are violated, the meeting may be ended for the attendee and (re)certification may be forfeited. If this occurs, there will be NO refunds or transfers.

Course Overview
This 1-day, 5.5-hour Live Virtual Instructor-level certification program (includes a 30-minute lunch break) focuses on deploying, handling, and documenting the use of Aerosol Irritant Projectors. Topics include medical considerations, legal liability, proper deployment techniques, the complete arsenal of available aerosols and situational requirements, recommended contamination drills, decontamination procedures, properly reporting force, and tactics for surviving an aerosol attack.
This course enhances the instructor's development in aerosol tactics and helps protect departments from costly litigation. Certified instructors receive access to SABRE's online instructor portal, which includes the student PowerPoint for teaching end-user classes.
