Stopping a Rabid Dog
07 18 2014
Recently, SABRE came across a question posted onto Yahoo! Answers by user Eric.
The question reads: Can Pepper Spray stop a Rabid Dog?
Here are a few things to consider when seeking protection against a dog:
1. Pepper sprays that are made for protection against humans should NOT be used against dogs or any other animals.
2. There are pepper sprays made specifically for dogs and other animals.
3. SABRE's Protector Dog Attach Deterrent is designed to help in dangerous situations where another dog is trying to attack.
4. SABRE’s Protector Spray is the better alternative for the attacking dog, since it doesn’t cause long-term pain or injury that a lethal weapon may cause.
In addition to Protector Spray, there is also FRONTIERSMAN Bear Attack Deterrent Spray which is used for protection against aggressive bears.
Frontiersman is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency. It was also field tested and repeatedly proven effective at deterring charging bears by both Elmendorf Air Force Base and Brown Bear Resources.
Be sure to use the correct deterrent against an attacking animal for the safety of both yourself and the animal. If you have any questions regarding SABRE animal deterrent sprays, comment on this blog post.
